Link insertion service
Link insertions in articles that already have readers
Your link, added in context to an article that is already published on a relevant site. Also called a niche edit.
What a link insertion is
A link insertion (often called a niche edit) adds a link to your page inside an article that is already live on another site. Instead of publishing something new, the publisher updates an existing article so that your link sits naturally in the text, next to a sentence that makes sense for the reader.
What we do for you
- Find articles on relevant sites that already cover your topic
- Check the page before we propose it: does it fit, is it a real article, is the link placement natural
- Suggest wording that fits the existing text
- Get the publisher's price and terms, and send you a shortlist with authority, traffic and price
- Confirm the link is live and send you the URL
When it makes sense
Link insertions suit situations where you want a link on a page that already exists and already has readers, and you do not need a brand new article. An existing page is usually quicker to place on than a new post, but the publisher decides, so we give a timing estimate per site rather than a promise. If you want to compare the two options side by side, see guest post vs link insertion.
What we look out for
A good insertion is relevant to the page it sits on, written in plain editorial style, and placed where a reader would actually want it. We avoid sites that sell insertions on every topic with no editorial standard, and we do not place links on adult or gambling sites. More in our standards.
Price
Each publisher sets its own price. It is quoted to you per site before you approve anything, and nothing is charged before you say yes.
