How we choose sites, and what we will not do
Links are only worth having on the right sites. These are the rules we work to.
What we look for
- RelevanceThe site covers a topic close to yours and the article would make sense to its readers.
- A real audienceGenuine traffic and an active publication, not a page that exists only to hold links.
- AuthorityReasonable DA / DR from third-party tools. Sites below our minimum are not proposed.
- Editorial fitPages and content that look like part of a real site, with sensible placement of the link.
What we avoid
- adult or gambling sitesWe do not place links on them and we do not take requests for them.
- link farms and private blog networksSites that exist mainly to sell links to anyone are not on our shortlists.
- hidden costsThe price of each site is quoted to you before you approve it.
About the numbers we show
Authority and traffic figures come from third-party tools. They are estimates, and different tools disagree, so we name the source next to each figure and treat the numbers as a guide, not a promise. We would rather show you the figure and let you check it than ask you to take our word for it.
Sponsored content and disclosure
Publishers differ in how they label paid or sponsored articles, and some require a disclosure. Where we know a publisher's policy, we tell you before you approve the site, so you can decide whether it suits you.
Questions about how we work?
Ask us before you commit. We are happy to explain any step.
