How much does a guest post cost, and what changes the price?
Prices run from small to very large. Here is what moves them and how to compare quotes without being misled.

There is no standard price for a guest post. The same article on two different sites can cost very different amounts, and a higher price does not always mean a better site. These are the things that usually decide the quote.
What moves the price
- Authority score. Sites with a higher DR or DA usually charge more. Remember that these are third-party scores, explained in DA vs DR.
- Real traffic. A site with genuine readers asks for more than one with few visitors. Different tools disagree, so read how to read a traffic number.
- Niche. Finance, health, technology and other sensitive or competitive topics often cost more than general lifestyle sites.
- Links allowed. One link costs less than two. Ask whether extra links cost extra.
- Who writes the article. Some sites charge one price if you supply the article and another if they write it.
- Labelling. A post marked as sponsored and one that is not can be priced differently. Ask which one you are buying.
- Speed. Faster placement sometimes costs more.
How to compare two quotes
- Get the site's name, so you can check it yourself.
- Ask which tool the traffic number comes from and look it up.
- Ask what is included: article, image, number of links, tag on the link, how long the post stays up.
- Decide whether the site is one you would be happy to be seen on. A cheap link on a site you would not show a customer is not a bargain.
Where to see real prices
Our sites list shows each site with its DA, DR, traffic and price, without the domain names, and our pricing page works out a starting budget from that same list. We also published what site owners first quoted us, grouped by DR band, in prices by DR, with the limits of that data stated on the page.
Article writing
If you need the article written, see article writing, which is priced per length and listed in full on that page.
When you are ready, send your website and niche. We reply with a shortlist and nothing is booked until you approve a site and its price.
